The Giving Tree at TCE
First Grade is collecting new, unwrapped toys to be donated to the Lions Club. The Lions Club will help families in our community during the holiday season. If you would like to donate, please put a toy under the Giving Tree by the office and write your name on an ornament. Thank you for your generosity!!!

Miscellaneous
The TCE lost and found is getting full. Please stop by and check it out. Our lost and found is located right outside the cafeteria doors. Also, don't forget to put your child's name in the tag of his/her jacket in case it gets lost.
Please make sure to send a SPILL PROOF water bottle to use during class. We have had many spills with water bottles that can be spilled if tipped over. THANK YOU!!
We enjoyed a wonderful performance this week from the Dallas Symphony. We were also treated to a wonderful performance of Wizard of Oz from the after school Drama Club at TCE.
We have had many illnesses going around kindergarten. Please remember that your child must be fever free and symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school. Also, don't forget to send in a note to your teacher when your child returns to school. Even if you have called the office in advance to let them know of the absence, a note is still required when your child returns. Without a note, the absence will be considered "unexcused". Thanks!!!
